Occasionally, an end user or owner may elect to utilize an
existing consultant or design team perhaps from a similar industry such as IT, A-V, Electrical
or otherwise, therefore a consultant that is not exclusively and
principally engaged in the business of security consulting. Often this structure is determined through historical relationships, economies of
scale, desire for limited accountability, inherited contractual arrangements etc.
When this type of arrangement is applied against a security
assessment, security system design or any other type of security application
for the project or organization, a risk factor can sometimes exist in terms of interpreting the security assessment, system design and specification requirements as well as overall security requirements for the project.
In these situations, we offer a Peer Review service that
assists to mitigate that risk and allows us to review and inject, if necessary,
our expertise in these areas to help deliver the expected value and results to
the project. Our process encompasses the
full range of a review process beginning with the onset of the project
objectives and ending with the final delivered systems or solutions. Our goal in these situations is to work in a
harmonious manner with the underlying design team, consulting or engineering firm to help
establish and accomplish the desired outcome and objectives of the security plan.
